Perfect Stovetop Rice

This easy stovetop rice recipe is perfect for busy moms, dads, even college students. Make perfect rice every time.

  • 2.75 c water (2 c + 3/4 c water)
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt (1 tbsp + 1 tsp Kosher salt)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 c rice (long grain – raw)
  1. Set stove to high-heat. In a medium sauce pan add water. Once water reaches boiling temperature, add salt, rice, and stir. Put the lid on the pan and reduce temp to low-heat. Cook 20 min without opening the lid. After the 20 min. turn heat off, leave pan on stove for additional 10 min.
